Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to get crafty and spread some joy to others! Whether you’re making cards for loved ones, decorating your home, or adding a unique touch to your gifts, hand lettering can make all the difference.

If you’re looking for some new, creative ways to do that, keep reading. I have some fun, easy Valentine’s Day hand lettering ideas for you below!

Why Hand Lettering?

Hand lettering adds a personal touch that store-bought items just can’t replicate. It allows you to infuse your personality and creativity into every project, making them truly unique. It also shows the person receiving your gift how much you care — because you put time, effort, and energy into making it something special!

Plus, it’s a fun way to relax, de-stress, and explore your creative side.

Now let’s get on to those ideas!

Hand Lettering Idea #5: Valentine’s Day Craft Store Finds

I also love taking a trip to the craft store (usually Hobby Lobby) to see if I can find any unique, holiday pieces to hand letter on. The last time I did this, I struck gold! I found this adorable wooden tray heart, and decided to use my hand lettering skills to turn it into a sign for my kitchen.

You can watch the full tutorial to see how I did it below.
